Frederick, Maryland. Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade invites regional artisans for 2021!
July 1, 2020 – Launched last March with the artwork of talented regional artisans, Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade is planning for next March by expanding the number of kinetic sculptures on display in Carroll Creek from three to six, and possibly more.
“The current kinetic sculptures have been extremely well received by the community, and we’re excited to provide further opportunities for this mesmerizing art form to flourish and be appreciated by all” according to Bernard Gouin, Chair of Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade.
Regional artisans are invited to submit their designs before 5pm on Friday, August 14, 2020.
Carroll Creek Kinetic Art Promenade’s Artistic Review Committee will evaluate the designs based on creativity, composition, craftsmanship, diversity, and impact, before they are submitted to the City of Frederick for final approvals.
